Hoe Biblio te gebruiken om het nieuwe beleid wetenschappelijk publiceren toe te passen?

Zoals  toegelicht in de infosessie “UGent beleid wetenschappelijk publiceren” vinden er dit academiejaar enkele belangrijke, aan elkaar gelinkte (beleids)ontwikkelingen plaats m.b.t. wetenschappelijk publiceren. De invoering van een vernieuwd beleid rond wetenschappelijk publiceren en de lancering van de nieuwe Biblio back office voor het registreren en deponeren van publicaties en nu ook het registreren van gepubliceerde onderzoeksdata maken hier deel van uit. 

In deze sessie zullen we toelichten wat de impact van deze ontwikkelingen is op de registratie en deponering in Biblio, hoe de nieuwe Biblio back office eruit ziet en hoe je het nieuwe beleid in praktijk kan brengen aan de hand van de nieuwe Biblio back office.

Deze sessie zal online plaatsvinden. Er wordt zowel een sessie in het Nederlands als in het Engels aangeboden. De sessie zal ook opgenomen worden zodat je deze later kan raadplegen.

Ter info, begin volgend jaar zal de sessie ook herhaald worden en zal deze aangevuld worden met twee geavanceerde sessies die dieper ingaan op de registratie en deponering van publicaties enerzijds en de registratie van gepubliceerde onderzoeksdata anderzijds. Inschrijving voor de sessies die zullen plaatsvinden in 2023 is nog niet geactiveerd.

How to use Biblio to implement the new policy on scholarly publishing? 

As  explained during the info session “Ghent University Policy on Scholarly Publishing”, a number of important, related (policy) developments concerning scholarly publishing will take place during this academic year. A new policy on scholarly publishing will be introduced and the new Biblio back office for the registration and deposit of publications as well as the registration of published research data will be launched. 

During this session, we will explain the impact of these new developments on registration and deposit of published research outputs in Biblio, we will show what the new Biblio back office looks like and how you can put the new publication policy into practice using the new Biblio back office. 

This info session will take place online. Both a session in Dutch and a session in English will be offered. The session will also be recorded so you can consult it at a later time. 

For your information, early next year, this session will be repeated and complemented with two advanced sessions that zoom into registration and deposit of publications on the one hand and registration of published research data on the other hand. Registration for the sessions that will take place in 2023 is not open yet.
