Inhoudelijk staan de Science Laps volledig in het teken van een verdere uitbouw van online ondersteuning bij practica. U kan er dan ook terecht om het leerpad bij uw practicum verder vorm te geven (bijv. in Ufora met H5P), om tools te verkennen die via het 'Virtual Science Labs'-project beschikbaar worden gesteld (Labster, LabBuddy, LearnSci - zie ook deze webpagina) en om met andere deelnemers uit te wisselen over specifieke aspecten van practicumonderwijs (bijv. evaluatie).

Een Science Lap verloopt typisch als volgt:

The aim of the Science Laps is to further expand online support for practicals. Whether you want to further elaborate the learning path for your practicals (e.g. in Ufora with H5P), explore tools that are made available through the Virtual Science Labs project (Labster, LabBuddy, LearnSci - see also this webpage) or exchange with other participants about specific aspects of practical education (e.g. evaluation) with other participants, the Science Laps are the place to be!

  • A Science Lap typically proceeds as follows:
  • Short introduction and updates
  • Discussion: sharing information and exchanging experiences
  • Work moment - individually or in small groups
    • Further elaborate online support of practicals
    • Browse through catalogs of available tools
    • Exchange about planned or already performed interventions
  • Wrapping up with a wrap
